The game was developed for the Game Boy Competition 2025. Unfortunately, we were unable to submit it in a playable state before the due date (but are planning on finishing it soon!).
Re: game’s goal, you are probably familiar with Bejeweled and/or Candy Crush. They took the original author’s idea, but failed to credit him properly. We just did our humble part in righting that wrong.
As for hexagonal match-3, that concept isn’t new either, but at least we arrived at the idea independently.

What is the goal? I don't know the MS-DOS game. :(
"A + D-pad swaps the selected emoji with its neighbour" doesn't always work. How do I move the marbles?
